It is not a mystery. Like all major speculative bubbles a large number of ordinary citizens have been drawn into the market by the easy profits to be made. It is fun. Make thousands every week with a few mouse clicks with your on line broker. Do you really think it is that easy for any extended period? I suspect the Fed is getting very concerned about the wild speculation. Once Asia and Latin America show a few more signs of life the Fed is going to take the punch bowl away big time. As always, it will be the small investor that gets burned. Until then, enjoy the party! Another round on the house...!
