A friend saw the report. Lots of charts and graphs. One line summarizes it. Those who are considering that Winspear may have got lucky need to consider this. What if they were unlucky? That should send shorters for the little boys/ or girls room in a hurry.

The writer, who seemed to know their stats states that the possibility of higher results could come in the 6000 tonne sample than in the 200 tonne sample.

The finding of 3 biggies in the 200 statistically suggests X biggies in the 6000 tonne sample. Do your own math. If the standard error is 9 stones, this would be Y biggies with an 80% confidence level and Z with a 95% confidence level.

He paints a cute picture of Randy meeting bankers and pulling his diamonds of of his pockets instead of the money he would have got had he sold them.

I'll look at the report again tomorrow, it takes considerable thinking to analyse the stuff. Whoever did it knows their stuff.
