<<i'm beginning to see a machiavelian pattern with analysts and pundits...it appears that the emphasis solely on revenue growth...which supports the backing of the internets and their unvaluations..>>

edamo: I think you may be right....with this fascination with .com and digital stocks, growth in sales and market share is king. Yet, that may change. Internet companies will be held accountable for following a CLEAR path to profitability. IMHO, some of the new e-commerce plays will fail. When profits are valued in a bigger way, DELL will viewed as a PREMIERE ONLINE marketing machine.

DELL will RISE again and IMO will deliver better returns than an INTC or a MSFT going forward. It all comes down to execution though. Then of course the market has to digest everything...they seem to have a SHORT attention span on Wall Street.....Didn't we just hear A LOT of positive news from DELL <GGG>...????

Best Regards,

Scott

Edamo, what we are seeing is a rotation from the techs into the brokers and banks. Many of the techs are not doing very well. The big Dow rallies of the past few days are not being confirmed by the S&P or the Nas. As I said, a strange market. With respect to the Analysts and their analysis of the tech stocks...there are so many conflicting reports coming out, that I just don't know what to believe. However, I would put my trust in the IDC and Dataquest reports. These reports are still showing good growth in the pc markets.
