I'm not at all convinced that the Y2K (non) issue is responsible for holding ORCL down. I just don't see it.

TO all: Help me out here. I just did a fundamental analysis over at eduvest.com and I used the following input parameters:

Long Term Debt: 304.2 million
Shares Outstanding: 143.004 million
Book Value: $2.10
Current yearly EPS: 85 cents
Projected yearly EPS: $1.01
Projected growth in earnings: 15%
Current AAA Bond rate: 6.68%
Growth rate to be sustained for 1 year (conservative)

I received a value point result of $24.81/shr.

Does anyone disagree with any of these figures? Particularly EPS estimates and percentage change.

Give me some other possibilities, and I'll plug them in. If you want to review the result, go to the above site, click on the "Forum" icon, Choose listing of alphabetical order, scroll down to ORACLE and find the posting with today's date, click on the highlighted value point and then hit transfer and you can change any of the parameters that you want.

I know it sounds arduous but actually it's really easy. And overall a very useful tool.
