<<..real world can't go very long on a pure cash flow model.>>

You sound like my father ....He owns lots of DELL, INTC, MSFT, CSCO, ORCL, etc.....About 4 months ago I had him add EMC, XCIT, INTU and AOL to his portfolio -- he has been pleased.....This week he has even added small positions in MCNS, MSGI and AWRE.

My time horizon for investing is a LONG one and I can tolerate A LOT of risk....I have had a some fun with the internuts --- doubled the value of my online IRA in the last 2 months. This clearly may not continue but I stay invested in the dot.com sector for now -- there IS TOO MUCH potential (if you carefully select stocks).

DELL is my conservative bluechip tech stock. It still is near 30% of my total holdings -- yet, my net stocks are becoming more and more important as time goes on.

I admire your discipline. My grandfather is sort of like you -- steady as she goes with bluechip techs. Yet, a year ago I got him to buy some CMGI and he has LOVED the performance. In fact just over 2 weeks ago he sold ALL of his Berkshire Hathaway and rotated the funds into more CMGI (at $165)...He seems to have great timing and follows things online ...I forgot to mention that he is VERY active and 85 years old..!!!....Oh well, lots of investors are discovering the potential that the internet offers <gg>..

Best Regards,

Scott
