As Donald Trump says "The Hardest Thing About Success is finding someone to celebrate it with" - too bad he doesn't know about This Place!!! Fonely They'd Turn The Air Conditioning Down on a Hot Town Summer In The City Evening It'd Be Perfect!! Maybe we stood in line next to one other discussing the zillion italian ice flavors by the truck outside, passed the salsa at California Burritos or tried not to touch other peoples food at the Hot 'n Cold Salad Bar; or maybe you saw us getting thrown out of that souvenir shop out front when we unfolded a tshirt to see if it would fit and the guy said "Don't touch that unless you're going to buy it" and quick as a wink my chip-off-the-old-block came up with a mighty fresh answer for him. So once again we made a narrow escape from The Big Apple moments before getting our fannies kicked, lemmetellya. Well, so what else is new, happens everytime we go to the City outta there in the nick of time. Must be the Joisey plates on our silver taurus wagon that resembles a ufo.... Michael, SI is a great place to do stock research; here's a map to a couple of favorite surfing spots: 1)there's a blue bar on the Homepage and on some of the threads that rate quotes it says Quotes, News, Spotlight etc. and clicking "Spotlight" gets you some great stuff updated often . There are many quick resources in Spotlight to find volume movers, ups and downs; aptly named "Spotlight" to illuminate those high-flyin internet stocks doing their here-today-gone-tomorrow momentum tricks when something lights their fuse. 2) At the bottom of a thread is also "Search" and "Text Search" will bring up either tickers, Company names, names of persons, or any phrases you want ("new portal" "venture capitalist" "new ticker" "IPO" or anything you want either for serious research or to look around for some fun. 3) Up Top on SI Member Homepage, "HOT LIST" and "NEW SUBJECTS" are always of interest, fun and research opportunities there, too. 4) Checking Profiles of other posters is a great way to see some personalities and also to check other places they post and what they're saying about those stocks. Lurking on Profiles and Copying Other Folks' Stock Picks....or just plain nosing around what they're talking about elsewhere on SI....All Part Of The Fun Around The Go2Net Silicon Investor !!! 909 2U, Joan

Michael, I forgot to tell you we have fun when we loose money (on paper) too. I pulled a trick today that I like to do when internets are getting killed. I sold PCNF and AOL and bought GNET(on -10s) on the way down. Got in at 175 then 165 but I missed buying at 155 as by time I called it hit 160. Unless the market goes to hell GNET will hit at least 195 again, it is a RULE not an opinion. All it takes is time. So today's trading doesn't bother me. I have no doubt we will see a snap back rally tomorrow and GNET will go back towards its high. What other stock has such good news coming? AOL was not moving well in the past few days so I punched it for more GNET. Since PCNTF and AOL were sold for profits I can jump back into them at any time. Cheer up Techriders you are still rich and the fun Techride continues in the AM. Hold on to the bar and Joanie tell Mick he is up first in the AM. 909S2ALL BLUE
