John, welcome to the HOME thread. While long term, online brokerages may be good, today is showing major sell-off despite AMTD earnings and EGRP split. . .looks manipulated, but who knows. I have had to sell a portion of SIEB and NDB to maintain gains. . .looking to re-enter lower, if it appears that the sector will heat up again. I am anticipating an end to the mania, so I am a bit gunshy here. FLT looks better than most. But the dirty little secret is this. . .E-trade keeps crashing. . .investors losing money as a result. . .Sure-trade has had its share of major problems. . . DLJ cost me an enormous amount yesterday. . .I still have "PENDING" status on trades I placed before yesterday's open, for heavens sake. . .now how do I sell those? I can't even get their phone to ring. . just busy signals. So, it is a bitter-sweet relationship. . .investors and online brokerages. Rande Is
