<<Did DCHT miss out on DOE hand out...?>> Francios, I doubt that is a worthy concern. DCHT intends by plan to enable OTHERS to develop applications and markets for its technology. It may logically be that DCHT itself did not apply. No hype nor hope for such DOE hand-outs have ever been heard from DCHT, RAM, nor anyone else that I am aware of. In fact, DCHT Technology has been developed, and I believe is still currently being developed, at federally funded National Laboratories with the cooperation of the DOE. I hope this helps. Dan B
