lml,

Not sure how you can say:

"Neverthess, current ILEC DSL pricing has been established to compete with cable pricing."

DSL CLECs offer IDSL (160 kbps) for ~$100 per month while Media One offers cable modem service for $30-40 per month. Help me understand how that is competitive. Not too mention the throughput on a cable modem is significantly higher. IMHO, the cost structure for a DSL CLEC will not allow them to compete for residential service. As long as they have to rent the copper its going to be a tight margin business.
