Fidelity wont let me do the 01 on CMGI, say I dont have enough margin power. I'm going to call and see if I can sell at least one on 00, this downturn is the perfect opportunity if they'll let me: CMGI is going to split next month, you know the buying pressure will be there!

OT: Jill, the reason I like the 01 versus 00 is as you said: premium is richer. I prefer a longer LEAP for volatile stock like CMGI, the delta is much smaller if the expiration is much farther. Besides, I do not necessarily plan top hold on until 01 to enjoy the money. Like I posted before, I only held for 1 month and get $ 20/share without any money out, and then roll it to higher strike price.

Margin requirements? Varies from broker to broker. Many brokers do not spell it out in writing. Brown & Co does lay it out in the brochure, plus their minimum liquid net worth is only half of others.

Disclosure: I do not have an account with Brown & Co, so I do not know the quality of the service.

Good Luck

Paul
