Must be alot of skeptics holding stock today. Gee... you'd think they would have moved out by now.

Selling going on. Down to 35 1/2 from 37 since 3:00 est.

While that is not an unusual reason for not placing an ad buy, it is unlikely to be the case, since ad buys usually occur no less than 2 weeks ahead of time, and more likely closer to a month. Once placed, they are damn near impossible to pull. If AAPL knows its pipeline is stretched 1 month in advance, then you're probably correct.
However, I still think it is the ad buyer recognizing purchase opportunities that match with AAPL's various PR timings....
