It's not just that they cleared 2B, but that they cleared it with revs of only 7.1B!!!! 28% net margins are simply amazing.

Welcome, I'm pretty new as a poster here myself. (Used to post in the past, dropped out from posting for a while because I was working on a project with Intel, and didn't want to piss anybody off.)

How many companies have Intel's total market cap? It's relative.

Intel's price builds in a LOT of expectations about their growth potential. What they said yesterday was less optimistic than many people were apparently expecting.

I agree, though, that it is probably short term. Might even pick up a bit more if it dips further in the next couple of months.
