David: Split coming end of May: CMGI will start another run soon, dip and then have a more sure run into the split and after, as a $150 (or whatever) stock, assuming two for one, it will return to $200 sometime in the not too distant future.
Do not fret: I bought in at 211, bought more at 189 (total only 100 shares as this one is EXPENSIVE!) and now even after a huge down day I am up, though at one point I was well down (it dipped to 174).

Watch your blood pressure, Doc. Geez, do you think we'd have to wait a WHOLE MONTH for another runup? Let's see, in one month beginning 3/12 at 164 and ending last Monday, we doubled. I wouldn't mind waiting a WHOLE MONTH to start another run like that. Such itchiness to make a killer move. You're too quick on the trigger, Doc. Looks like you would have been better off keeping the Yahoo, which ended the day just 10 points lower than your sale price instead of buying CMGI at 288, which closed 33 points below your buy point. Hellooooo?! You can't time these suckers. Can't do it. Doesn't work.

maybe it goes lower, maybe it is overdone..we will see..IMO..after attending one full day of the CMGI conf in NYC..we are fine..the companies they have stakes in are not airbags..they are good..

IMO..they are gems..critical path..great...

they network these companies..they help each other..the people running these are very bright and talented..they played to a tough crowd..and did very well..you could talk to anyone, including Chairman
David..

Mary Meeker(Morgan Stanley) spoke at lunch and she answered net valuation questions:
"the nets, when they fall, will fall hard..the top 10 bounce back the fastest. Have your seat belts on.
She very much liked CMGI

If you felt pain today, join the crowd..but I did add big at 181..so, what do I know? :)

Today I read that they hired the former President of NBC to run the internet division.

Remember, we are still in the first inning of the internet. They are still getting 1000 plans a month sent to them..the best are coming to cmgi first.
