Doc, There was definite upward pressure after 3:50 p.m. with the MMs being forced upward with the demand. The MMs all lowered the bid and asks at 3:58 p.m., but the buying forced them upward anyway until they closed at 2 3/8 x 2 7/16.

I did not see any large blocks go by. There was one error of 10,000 shares at 2 5/32 that was marked as an "error". Most of the other buys were in the 100 - 1000 share range, with a few as high as 1500 shares. IMO the size of the buys seem to have been evenly distributed.

It is my GUESS that there is a rumor that caught the MMs off guard at the end of the day; if that is so, they may have trouble meeting the demand tomorrow if the rumor persists, or if there is breaking news. This is because the united effort to suppress the price at 3:58 appeared to be an obvious attempt to regain control and indicates to me that the MMs do not have enough shares stockpiled to handle tomorrow's anticipated demand.

I am no expert, and this is merely my opinion, and all observations, feedback and criticism of my opinion are welcome.
