what article said that mako is superior ? anyway, there probably is not any specific reason for the sell off. most internet high fliers got whacked today just like gnet did. but, they have gone up so much so quickly that this is always bound to happen. i try to just keep averaging down every 10 to 15 points. eventually all the fundamental growth rates, etc.. still apply today and into the future. they also still apply to gnet. so, you take advantage of an opportunity to buy cheaper again.

announcement that Mako would be introducing a stock site "superior to Go2net" had anything to do with it. That's a load of crap. What makes SI superior to all others is the people on it. The membership fee acts as a filter. SI could use some improvements (it'd be nice if it were your one stop shop for all the stock info and research you need, including L2 quotes) but hopefully the redesign will address some of those issues. I figured a selloff was imminent - if I were a real ballsy trader I would have sold, but with the prospects of this company I think I'd rather be an investor and ride this puppy as far as she goes. -G
