should the underlying fall out of favor, and you no longer desire potential assignment, just cover the position with a "more desirable" issue, that will give you additional premium and better posture...at this point strike is secondary, providing you don't exceed your exposure...

e.g. 5x dell 40 puts = 1 x cmgi 200 puts...same exposure 200k..as long as the new premium is equal to or more than the one you replace..no risk..just monitor closely...the key is always maintain a position where the strike less the premium is at or below the price of the common...if too much disparity reset as above either same issue or new issue
