Well, of course I recall perfectly what I said to you. In my always dulcet, melodious tones, I gently mentioned to you that while it was not in any way my fault that the croupier never called my numbers and the slot machines failed to land on the right combinations, or that you failed to have a sufficiently high credit limit on your platinum card to cover my undeserved losses, and while it was hardly MY idea that we work as slaveys on a disgustingly piscean-smelling barge filled with dirty, stinky enfants perdus who didn't appreciate my haute cuisine in order to get home, I would remain gracious, polite, and my usual charming and lovely self anyway.
Isn't that what you recall?
