Pete, I think the early round of earnings for the big techs brought some reality back to earth. This is yet another excuse (we have had plenty of short lived small growth rallies) to buy the beaten down growth companies. But will they last this time or people scoop up the temporarily beaten big names once again in a few days? One thing is different - April 15 is tomorrow and all the last minute IRA contribution money will run dry past midnight tomorrow. A break is well needed. I still haven't filed yet <GG>. Still need to print out all those D1 schedules tonight.

As to the drillers - my crystal ball says they will follow oil until the OPEC cheat data is known. They will not dive despite their anticipated poor earnings unless oil breaks below $15. If you haven't average out of your RIG by now, I suppose you might as well take the chance of holding it longer now.
