Carlos,

These type of headlines do not surprise me. I knew that Eli's comments were very powerful to the street and his guidance in this report is much more bearish than last quarters report. Basically, he says wait till the second half of the year to be bullish on the stock.

As I mentioned in a previous post, his guidance of demand carry over from Q4 into Q1 led to the stock price increase from low 20's to mid 30's. In this report he says the opposite, it will be interesting to see what happens over the next couple of weeks. Again, just my opinion.

I think the press release had a generally positive tone, and the numbers were good. They are not blow-out numbers, but they are positive, especially when combined with the release about the link with Microsoft.

I think we will see a nice move up in the stock tomorrow. Major moves will probably wait until the market sees bigger sales in digital cameras and the MP3 players.

CM,

A Microsoft Announcement...

Record Revenues...

An Upbeat Conference Call...

The recent action in stock price just smells. I have no doubt that somebody wanted SNDK down. Let's face it, down 20 points in 2 or 3 weeks time despite positive press releases?
Stock manipulation is the only fitting word.
These big institutions are just plain rotten. Scaring Joe Investor out of his position just to get into a stock they are just discovering now.

The press release you just posted gives credence to this theory.

I now rank institutional traders on the same level as ambulance chasers and personal injury lawyers. I would call them jackasses, but that would be insulting to the world's jackass population.
