LindyBill, It has been a rough couple of days. I just decided enough is enough and can't stand the day to day uncertainty with PC related stocks. Lucky to get out of Intel at 61 and 60.
Microsoft earnings run up---probably but I am not betting the farm on it. We would be lucky to see 90 again before earnings unless some positive statements are released.
However seeing the market is behaving at least as in its assessment of PC related stock, CFO Maffei may issue a very positive outlook on the PC business similiar to how Intel has stated that nothing unusual is taking place ie. no dark clouds.
We could get a rare positive report on the PC industry's future at the earnings release. That is what might give confidence to investors in this sector. Therefore, that might be the earliest I would look at buying any stock related to PC----or even stocks in general.

Unfortunately, i don't go short on the market so I can't capitalize on the down moves. Still being in cash is not stressfull---kind of relaxing.
