taxman, i hope the apple news gives a lift to the PC sector tomorrow even though it is a non-Windows computer.
We need something that changes the current market sentiment on the sector!!
Without that, PC related biz is in trouble at least until Microsoft's earnings and outlook for the next quarter. I would not be surprised to see them tell analysts to raise next quarter's estimates due to Office2k, again. I think that will help Dell,Gateway etc.

That is why I am not willing to the chance with a large exposure to options.
A bright spot today is that net stocks got hit as well. Maybe some investors may start looking at real companies again.

taxman: mot intc and others beat it yesterday so we can count on another down day unless the ceo's make up a bunch of bs about the next qrtr.
