I am always upset with market moves on AAPL and ORCL. I'm not upset with you....
You may be able to read the market well these days. I haven't been able to lately. I haven't figured out what half the investors are really looking for.
I've been involved in 1 turnaround, 1 takeover, and 1 IPO. In NOT ONE SINGLE CASE have I met an analyst who actually understood the industry he was analyzing. I spent hours with them explaining it, then when I read their reports, I read the same BS that they've always spewed.
I have a very good friend who graduated from Wharton recently, and is in the Tech sector as an analyst. The guy couldn't tell you what a CPU was, doesn't know the difference from AAPL v. Wintel, and his only strength is looking at a balance sheet. Yet he makes calls on these stocks..............
Makes you wonder.
Eric Yang is the best analysis I've been able to find on AAPL. And while I am sure he probably thinks AAPL is priced "right", all I know is that AAPL has gone from being irrelevant to scaring the pants off the major hardware manufacturers. And still they get no respect.
