A comment on the Motorola StarTac--I have to guess that the selling price to the service providers is north of $500, since my survey of web sites shows $299 for Sprint, $399 for PrimeCo, and $499 for BAM. Let's assume $500, realizing that it is likely more. At $500, the royalty is probably $25. I would guess that is more than QCOM gets from selling one of its QCP-1920 models. They retail at $99, so net for Q is not $25. The moral of the story is GO MOT, SELL MORE STARTACS!!!
