Ok
I dont know about covered calls on DELL though (although I hope to eventually buy back those 00 70's pretty cheap during a lull in the fall). It seems when i try that the stock goes up and I cant stand it: I want to sell DELL (if I ever do) when I want to and not because someone exercised an option I sold.
I think I like selling puts better. And buying calls on AOL and CMGI which are the hot movers this year.
I do still have some DELL May and August calls though. Have learned to be patient and wait, have sold many calls that I'd bought and made little profits instead of big ones because I was too nervous and impatient. I'm still impatient I suppose but not nervous and that helps a lot.
Just got the packet and application from Brown and Co: they have a sense of humour.Have a booklet in there labeled "Some people even like us" with some positive customer comments.
