Hi.. I am brand new to this thread. I have been watching Wind River for several years and feel that it may be time to branch out of WIND as my only embedded investment. I would appreciate it greatly if anyone could offer a wrap-up of this company, its prospects and its next earnings announcement. This is not to replace my own DD, by the way, but I do like to get a quick take on a company before spending much time in the research phase. Thanks in advance. Bill B.

Hey Clay, hope you were able to listen to the conference call. Are you feeling pretty good now, I sure as heck am! I am going to sleep real well tonight knowing that SBSE is my largest holding.

Wonder if we are going to get another rocket day tomorrow?

Let's see what we now know:

1) Order flow has improved across the board.
2) Design wins increased from 8 last quarter to 11 this quarter.
3) Earnings visibility is much improved and getting stronger.
4) R&D spending has peaked as a percentage of sales.
5) EPS for FY 1999 should come in at the HIGH end of guidance.
6) Company is comfortable with the EPS estimates of $2.23 for FY 2000.
7) Bottom line growth of 17-22% is likely for the next couple of years.

They can not ignore this stock for much longer! See you in the 30's!
