Dan Niles of Banc Boston Robertson Stephens on CNBC this morning triggered it by panning Intel pretty badly. It went down and took most everything else with it, turning a Nasdaq up 40 around, and it finished down more than that. I'm staying with my techs. They come back generally in a day or 2.

I was told by (both of) my NY brokers that most institutions unwind their option positions by Wednesday if possible. Friday's activities are mostly by retail folks.
