Hey, guys! Just got back from playing golf today. Shot an 88 (16 over par). Half (8) of the shots over par were on three holes. Call me Mister Inconsistent, but I was very happy with that score.

So...

Did anything interesting happen today? <g>

Or put another way...

What the hell did you guys do to the market? Which one of you sold?

Oh, yeah, wait a minute, I did. Had to sell about 10% of my RMBS this morning to pay an ugly tax bill for last year (sold at $64.25). I wonder if some of the other selling today was by folks who had to pay huge tax bills for all the money they made trading internet stocks last year (which wasn't me, incidentally -- we sold some of my wife's employee purchase shares and options last year)? Anybody else here have to do it? Or was I the only one?

Sounds like our buddies at Rambus pretty much have things on target. I like a management team that tells you what they're going to do and then does it. We're still going to be in a trading range. Keep a copy of this quarter's announcement because next quarter's is going to sound the same -- it'll save a tree if you don't print it out again.

Dave

mindmeld...the statement "The outlook for Rambus to become the next memory interface standard continues to be very bright.", is weak. A little confidence like "As the next memory standard Rambus' future is...." Lots of wiggle room and at a time when anything associated with a PC needs crystal clear clarity is a big mistake. BTW if you look back, my forecast of $48 long before Zeev started using the unusable chart stuff is going to happen sooner than later and I will be a player again. No position now.
