LaserMedia To Deliver Actfit.com Online Events via Broadcast.com
TORONTO, ONTARIO--LaserMedia Inc. announced today that it will broadcast actfit.com's health and fitness events on the Internet via broadcast.com.

The first online event will be ''Actfit with Sherry,'' an online workout featuring Ms. Fitness America Sherry Goggin, to be broadcast live Tuesday, April 20, 1999 at 8PM Eastern Time.

''Broadcast.com, with over 1.1 million unique users daily, is simply unequalled in its ability to deliver to us the audience we want, both in quality and in quantity,'' said Richard Hue, LaserMedia CEO. ''Actfit with Sherry'' is the first live workout to be broadcast on the Internet, and kicks off a series of events to be hosted by the actfit.com site. Sherry Goggin is North America's best-known female fitness personality, as well as being an accomplished
author and actress.

The event will be broadcast from Gold's Gym in Sylmar, California, which Ms. Goggin owns, and she will be available to talk to fans in actfit.com's chat room afterward.

The next event on the site's schedule is the first annual Ms. Rio Competition, which actfit.com will host at the Rio Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas on Saturday, May 1, 1999, and will broadcast online on Wednesday, May 12.

Ms. Rio will bring together 100 of America's most accomplished female fitness champions in a 3-day event with a top prize of $10,000. A panel of sports and entertainment celebrities will judge the competition, which has attracted major sponsors such as B anana Boat and others yet to be announced.
