Ach! Oy. . .

biz.yahoo.com

No wonder why it's trading down in after-hours. Look at this press release: Note the note about AAPL at the bottom. Sigh.

Wednesday April 14, 6:04 pm Eastern Time

AFTER THE BELL-AmeriTrade boosted after earnings

NEW YORK, April 14 (Reuters) - Online brokerage AmeriTrade Holding Corp. (Nasdaq:AMTD - news) got a good
boost in after-hours trading on Instinet on Wednesday after reporting quarterly earnings.

But the increase, to 158, after a close of 148 on Nasdaq, did not make up for the 25-1/4 hit it took during the day.

After regular trading ended Wednesday, AmeriTrade reported second quarter per share earnings of $0.14 compared with
flat earnings a year ago. It also reported improved quarterly revenues.

Electronics for Imaging Inc. (Nasdaq:EFII - news) was trading at 44 after closing at 41-1/8. After Nasdaq closed, the
company reported quarterly pe share earnings of $0.31 compared with $0.08 a year ago.

Rambus Inc. (Nasdaq:RMBS - news) was trading at 44 after closing at 41-1/8. The company said its quarterly results for the remainder of the calendar year are
expected to be ''no better than flat'', compared with second quarter figures. It also said the company outlook ''continues to be very bright.''

Apple Computer Inc. (Nasdaq:AAPL - news) dipped to 33-3/4 from a close of 35-17/32 after it said second-quarter earnings were below the same period a year ago.

Mark,

>>PS Rich--sorry to make it look like I was picking on you about the it's vs its thing. I edit all day at work, and I guess I get a bit freaked out after seeing that for the millionth time. No harm intended. I've got to learn to relax!

Isn't it 'freaked-out' vs. 'freaked out'? I need to relax too I guess. Enjoy your iMac!

Take it easy,

Norm

Anyone know how long it might be before the 333Mhz iMacs make it to online resellers (other than
Apple)?

Mark

I called MacMall today and they said they would not sell the 333s until they depleted their inventory of 266s.

I can see it now, one lone tangerine iMac, holding up all new orders of 333s :)

BTW What a deal! You can get a 266 iMac, 64MB RAM, and an HP 822c for $1497 + $150 Rebate! How cool is that.
