DRBES - <being overly confident in the face of what could turn out to be overwhelming adversity could, in time, prove to be extremely foolish>

I thought Intel was notorious for being paranoid? A "paranoid" overconfidence? :-)).

What I also find interesting about this particular thread is the "hurt Intel" thing again. I would think that a company with the size and culture of Intel will not go down easy. Just my .02.

re:"Am I foolish to think they will continue to do so?"

My response is intended to have two prongs. I am regretful if my first response was confusing to you:

1) My thoughts of overconfidence are directed at you. You appear in the shadow of iNTEL's past performance to be overly confident of their future.(not iNTEL as my other posts, if you care to read them, will bear out)

2) Since you raise the issue, some of the spice of Dr Grove's paranoia seems to have been retired with him. Time will tell.

And as I have said before: STAY TUNED !!!!
