Stocks go up, stocks go down, yours went down. Ever hear of a stop order? maybe on a stock that went up 80 yesterday, you should have had such an order in place. I think you learned a very expensive lesson. My defense? I don't defend Etrade, they are not perfect but I am not going to blame them if I don't know where my 10K is, or if I bought a high flier and didn't set a stop order. I have been frustrated by Ameritrade as much as anyone but it comes with the territory, to not set a stop was downright ignorant.
