I wouldn't disagree with you about the CEO's getting it wrong. I recall about a year ago when Palmer came on CNBS and guaranteed $2.50 in earnings for last year.

It's a bit unfortunate for the OS investors, though, that the industry can't get its act together to hype the business at a major conference. I'm not sure I buy the argument that these guys are downplaying the business as a p.r. move. IMO, they just don't know how to play the Wall Street game very well. Look at how they routinely miss earnings estimates. Do they really have to be told to set the bar lower?

Ordinarily, I'm content to let these stocks move deliberately over time. But I see a real risk of a recession if the market bubble should burst, and I believe it will burst. And no matter how much these stocks have been beaten down, they will be buried in a recession. So, I am eager to get the next rally under way. A little help from the CEO's would be nice.
