Hypermart now serving over 20000 domains vs 15000 only 6 weeks ago

Those sites serious about e-commerce will have their own domain, and hypermart is one of the few free hosting services that includes free DNS. Only 6 weeks ago Hypermart was serving 15000 of these domain names, compared to over 20000 now.

THE TOTAL number of members is far greater than that, around 185000 compared to 150000 about 6 weeks ago.

Surely a website with its own domainname will get more traffic and be promoted more than other virtual sites, and far more than the average site at Geocities with their extremely cumbersome naming scheme of geocities.com/CITY-NAME/NEIGHBORHOOD-NAME/4-DIGIT-NUMBER !!

So total hypermart traffic is probably way under-counted by tracking services like Mediametrix and Nielsen Net ratings. Earnings reports will tell.
