AMTD too high?
Last quarter $.13 EPS but traded at $50s after earnings announcement.
Now $.14 EPS but traded at $150? Look down tomorrow.

"but it grew from 0 to .14 so the P/E is no where near that high.

well, from 0¢ to 14¢ over the last year...we have 9¢, 10¢, 6¢, and 14¢ for each of the last 4 quarters. With today's closing price of 148, gives us a trailing P/E of 379 ( compared to 592 using the March 98 earnings). So my 264 estimate was actually too low.

Looking forward...well it's all a crap shoot. And it's hard to do math on a crap shoot. Anyway -- cheers to all you AMTD'ers!
