Changes supposed to be coming. Si has a new boss, and I understand they will be spiffing us up. It's already the best, can you imagine how good we will get.

There have been actually very few changes to the infrastructure of SI since the beginning... I have to take exception to that comment. I've been on SI for 2 years now. For one thing, the price has changed. For my $45, I am a member for life. I can't think of all the changes that Brad has made, but start with the capability to go to the first unread message on a thread, and to know how many messages are unread. You can keep a portfolio, and share it with others. You can preview and spell check your posts. I think private messaging was added. And there's a lot more inflated egos than there used to be (threads like No Rest for the Wicked, and others too numerous to mention). What hasn't changed is the level of garbage that is posted, giving rise to products like BrowseMaster, and making folks like Jach (in)famous. And with all these threads and posts, a hell of a lot has changed that we don't even see. Otherwise this site would be operating at a crawl. jas.
