like you, i think its a joke someone could possibly get sued for reposting someone else's post. What should happen is that there should be clearly some Rules that everyone knows...kind of what Webdrone was hinting at, but a lot of people have no clue about them (ie. I believe that one can cut and paste ANY BusinessWire or PRNewswire release, but it is wrong/illegal to cut and paste a full Reuters or DowJones Newswire article for some reason).

i recall someone a long time ago chastising me on the Fool boards for posting a Reuters article. I had no idea that it was wrong. Now, I paraphrase or just take little quotes...

the news from the Wall St Jrnl is that the fraud regarding PAIR was perpetrated by a PAIR employee.... duh.... that was real bright. gee, what's the chance they could track it back to such a logical perpetrator?!
