First of all, I think ASND and LU will merge April 22nd.<g> May at the latest. Both are anxious to get this over with and get on with the future. When is the shareholders meeting?

Second, there is no way of possibly guesstimating the price. But I think it would be an odds on (speculation) that appreciable gains could indeed materialize within that timeframe. LU will fair much better without a tag along. Although they say to ignore the acquiree's technical valuations, I tend to disagree. The Internet has invited an increasing number of ignorant investors and this further hampers their ability to discern the validity of this information, in relation to the makeup of the acquirer's PE, in making sound investment decisions. Another reason for 'the spread'. What is the spread now? 5+/-?
A merged company eliminates a lot of confusion. Also, LU wont be an OEM any longer and this should produce additional upward profit margin pressure while maintaining level or possibly decreased operating margins for the next quarter and beyond.

The Future Belongs To Luscend.

Go with The Best, GO ASND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
