Starsem Soyuz rocket has blasted off with four Globalstar satellites. Liftoff too place at 8:46 p.m. EDT today (0046 GMT on April 15), or sunrise at the Baikonur Cosmodrome, Kazakstan. The flight is be the third in Globalstar's deployment campaign using a Soyuz/Ikar booster. Spacecraft separation is expected about 3 hours, 33 minutes into flight.

Starsem Soyuz rocket has blasted off with four Globalstar satellites. Liftoff too place at 8:46 p.m. EDT today (0046 GMT on April 15), or sunrise at the Baikonur Cosmodrome, Kazakstan. Within nine minutes, the third stage injected the upper stage into a parking orbit. Spacecraft separation is expected about 3 hours, 33 minutes into flight.
