Shares of Terayon Communications (TERN: news, msgs) could go higher when investors get wind of a narrower-than-expected loss in the first quarter. The company posted a loss of 23 cents a share, 6 cents ahead of the First Call estimate of a 29-cent loss. Shares rose 2 1/4 to 55 1/2.
