Thank you, Harry. You're absolutely right. Out-of-the-money options have gotten me in trouble before. I was swayed by the upgrade that USWB received toward the end of the day. The analyst gave it a $48 target in 12 months. My thinking was perhaps faulty in expecting that it would be easier to recoup if I average-down. But in thinking about it a second time, I would recoup much more quickly if I use that same money buy a stock that is going up right now.

I told myself I wouldn't do this anymore, but impulsive, emotional trading makes you make mistakes. I should have had a plan to bail out at break-even. I paid 3 1/2 for those options several days ago. You have to have a plan and stick to it.
