i logged on to the link that greg posted...25.99 month for 36 months, penalty charge if you terminate early, plus 29,95 setup..basically $6mo more than most isps= 6x 36=216 + 29.95=245.95..the real catch is they offer upgrades..if you want a 17" monitor and office 97 you must prepay an additional 695 up front, printer about another 200..so how free is it?..sounds like a lousy lease deal..most likely they hold a deposit via your credit card..if aol doing at $40 mo still a lease..no matter what you call it...buy a cpq presario packaged for less than that
