E, I agree. Although ABC is not doing so well now, it is obviously a major "portal" of broadcasting and therefore irreplaceable. It wasn't that long ago that ABC was the king. I don't think for a minute that those days will return. Every network goes through cycles of being the top dog. We will return, no doubt. Happy trading, DS

E.Graphs My thinking about a spinoff is ABC is a drag on earnings,spin off 20% in a IPO and DIS keeps 80%.A separate company would have less red tape ,within DIS empire,to rebuild ABC into leaner meaner broadcast co.Also raises cash to be used for more profitable ventures, while still owning majority stake.DIS is worth much more than $34 a share. barber
