Right. The NAS/Small Cap/OTC-BB and even Pink sheets are all on one system, and all companies regardless of where they are physically traded, need a unique symbol. To make things even LESS confusing, the NYSE and AMEX usually use 1-3 letter symbols. The NASDAQ related exchanges use 4-5 letters, to further avoid possible duplications.

DID ANYBODY SEE THIS??????????????!!!!!??????

Read this message on Stockhouse....again my apologies if it was discussed earlier today as I have not read the days posts...too much of the early posts deals only with real-time quotes.

stockhouse.com

For those of you who don't want to go there, the message reads as follows:

"Meryll Lynch will be the third Market Maker. They will announce tomorrow that BIDS will begin trading on the Nasdaq on Monday.
I just got the news. I have not poisted crap before. I will bring more news as it become available."

Comments anyone?
Frank

That seems to be the case. Looks like the feudal system, the junior
(otc) company can't keep the symbol if a senior board company
wants it. Looks like the former owner of the symbol didn't trade much
anyway.
