Texas investors I have held a few thousand shares of bid.com since Jan. 99. I had lunch today with 3 friends, who between them hold large positions in ebay, cmgi and other stocks. They had not even heard of bid.com. One of them called me tonight and said that his broker in Houston could not get any shares for him.Don't know who it was, but I told him to find a new broker. He said he was going to put in an $80 limit order for a couple of thousand when it hits the Naz. IMHO once it hits the Naz, we will see a good pop on the 2nd or 3rd day of trading after people hear of it.

bid.com players, Just a thought, but have any of you tried using bid.com? bid.com sucks! Something you can't say for eBay. Own the stock, why not try to buy $100 worth of merchandise on bid.com just to justify your own hot air about how great the stock is.

Thanks for the feedback Any better ideas then? How else do you propose coming up with a value? It seems like all new items compare BII to EBAY, so I really do not think my method is that far fetched. However, i do agree that it is a back of the envelope approach. Regards, Stallion
