PB,

Yeah, I would like to know exactly what Niles said to raise Jerry's ire <g>. Given the way Niles has been making Intel's prospects look so gloomy, I can't imagine him being too optimistic about AMD's chances either <gg>.

PB,

This is leading to speculation that Niles
will be P.O.'d at AMD now.

AMD is so far down in all respects, that any news that comes out about them, short of going Chapter 11, will probably get viewed as a plus. The biz shows are saying they "beat" estimates by 10 cents (what minus 81 vs. minus 91 cents loss per share), and they are up over a dollar right now. Go figure.
