good morning rosemary,
just some thought on some obscure details.

who are the real experts on rambus? the company personnel right?

insider sales continue to be zero this year.

personnel turnover is 1%. that is a huge detail imo. rambus recently hired ten engineers for newly created positions. all of the old-timers are staying put.

the total lack of insider sales coupled with the almost zero turnover rate speaks volumes to me. company is obviously well run. huge technical challenges have been successfully resolved. everyone is happy. all of the company experts are available to assist mfrs in the production ramp and to design future improvements. insiders see enormous potential.

one of my favorite memories of the shareholders' meeting is the big grin on all of the rambus employees' faces. that grin never faded as the meeting went along.

Hi Rosemary,
RDRAM is an alternative of at least 2 DRAM configurations for the K7.
Later today I will send you a PM of a recent update on the k7. In this article AMD is quoted at initially aiming the K7 at the server and workstation segment. The article goes on to point out that AMD is not in these segments with their current products, and would have great difficulty in persuading one of the major players to spend the time evaluating the k7.
So I think that the K7 will make its initial appearance in the desktop. But with or without RDRAM, who knows.
