That is if you can figure out which config file to modify. The Linux machines I am working on at work have almost 0 utilities to configure users or setup networking. Anyone know of a good front end for Linux administration, especially with ftp utilities?

Thanks,
bps

My husband raves about his Linux on PC at work. Since he is not here I cannot tell you what he bought. He has two hard drives, 8 gegabytes (spell) of memory. He converted his MSFT files over to Linux.

He's connected to the net. It was no big deal! No more crashes! He uses the new, FREE, Word Perfect for Linux that was recently released by Corel. He says it is so fast that it feels like it is almost instantaneous.

MSFT might not have to worry yet but in the future..........Linux should be strong competitor.
