RocketMan,
CNBC this AM:
"yesterday Alcoa and Georgia Pacific up big time. Aluminum and the cyclicals. They are not sure if this is a flash in the pan or not. People think the world economy is coming back."

" Brokers are strong"
" Merrill upgrades trucks "

This is funny. I wish these guys would get their story straight.
I thought that the current/future ( 12 months ) theme was pricing weakness because Asia is still down and 2 days ago Wall St. Jour had
an article that rich businesses are resisting IMF and Government efforts to help bail out sunken 3rd world Economies by forgiving Bond debts.
Then I thought Europe is now slowing and THEY may not be able to help the US in pulling out the worlds economy. So who's going to help Asia? I thought our nest bill was going to be 2-3 bill and counting to pay f0r Kosovo war.

I guess Merrill missed the Internet so long and so bad that they are now pulling out the old "late- economic- cycle- cyclicals- bloom "
line used for years.

I don't buy it.

I think the Internuts are having profit taking and will be back sooner than later. AOL with the front pack,
