Art - I think a lot of listed stock order routing systems can now get odd lots executed without paying the "odd lot differential."

(This was true the last time I was a stockbroker (1989 - 1990), so ... I suspect it is still true today).

Also, in case anyone cares, the odd lot differential was either 1/8 or 1/4, depending on various things, including (I assume) the price level of the underlying stock.
