I'm not sure why they can't...they would just use the instant messenger for the live chat. Seems like it would be pretty similar to me but maybe there are other factors I am not aware of. I spoke to a contact at rnwk today who sounded very optimistic. I was just asking general questions regarding the rescent news and the heightened msft threat....while there was an obvious acknowledgement of their presence, there is great confidience that rnwk continues to lead the market and continues to offer the best solutions. I did get an indirect confirmation of a little tension between bcst and rnwk. bcst is afraid that realguide will take away some of their market share. This is a delicatre situation in my opinion, but it heightens the importance of AOL in the picture, as rnwk needs to ensure that they continue to get the majority of market share. I believe in the stay tight wiht AOL, they enjoy the continued success they have had, even if the bcst relationship softens a little.
